WHEN THE OFFICE IS HOME

GCE GLOBAL:
Hello, Yeimy,it is an honor to have you here, you know how much we admire you! We welcome you to this webinar and thank you in advance because we know the mark you leave every time you speak to us.

YEIMY MARÍN:
Thank you for the invitation, it’s a pleasure for me, I’m definitely happy to talk about this topic.

GCE GLOBAL:
Well, Yeimy, tell us more about the reason for this issue.

YEIMY MARÍN:
This is an issue that has made us “rethink” due to what is happening today. After all the adversities, I think that the time has come to see the positive in the fact that “my house becomes my office” and in case of being a father “the house becomes the school” and it can be much more, now the home at this time creates that opportunity to resolve what was not right with their marriage, with the children or with our work area.

GCE GLOBAL:
As a leader of Movimiento extraordinario, how do you identify a person without motivation?

YEIMY MARÍN:
I believe that to find a person without motivation is to know that most people who do not have a motivation is because you do not know what their Mission, Vision and therefore their Purpose. It may sound redundant but it is what gives us a Motivation “I have a person who asks me every day” if I have already communicated with this person or with this other one?”, and he answered “Why? call them you ” thanks to this I understand that this person is looking for motivation in another person therefore this person has an attitude of frustration, sadness and boredom, and therefore instead of looking for your motivation elsewhere, you can look for what you like like to make that your own motivation.

GCE GLOBAL:
What What meaning do these phrases that you have brought to this space have?

YEIMY MARÍN:
One of the phrases I brought “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift that we call the present.” It means time is important and thinking about what to do with it is important, but as people we think a lot about the excess of the future we have and that thinking and worrying about that future, according to studies, wears out 92% of the brain, so it leaves us with 8 % . of capacity to carry out the daily tasks and activities of the day to day , therefore it is an unnecessary expense for the brain. Instead of worrying about not being able to enjoy the present. (More information in the video.)

GCE GLOBAL:
Could you tell us more about the mission, Vision and Purpose?

YEIMY MARÍN:
Of course! Now you have to drop the activities that are considered urgent and organize priorities, these priorities can be coexistence; In advance, I want you to first understand how important the Mission, Vision and Purpose are. The mission and vision are about me and the purpose is like the support of the mission and vision. This is him, we, the mission is you. For what? The vision is you. Where am I going? Your purpose is what happens to the people who cross your path. (More information in the video.)

GCE GLOBAL:
Returning to the topic of time. How can we learn to prioritize our activities?

YEIMY MARÍN:
What a good question, take a look at this planning, there are some questions that will help you organize, among that time that we are talking about are 24 hours, of which 8 hours of sleep on average, the questions are: What proportion of my I live frustrated time or what is your attitude towards time?
Another question is: Is my way of planning realistic? among other.

GCE GLOBAL:
Nowadays with teleworking and employees, partners and other businessmen working from home, how can you not make it appear that you are abusing them, since the intention is that they can work and be efficient while they are in environments of other occupations? How to handle that impact from your professional point of view

YEIMY MARÍN:
From my point of view, initially we are all adapting to this situation, which is new for all of us, since we are not taught to work in an environment like home, the way that people can cope with working within four walls is to know that they have taken away my freedom to ask myself, what kind of freedom have I lost? What does this lead me to give it importance that I did not give it before? It is not worrying how to do everything in the house and work in the same place, if not doing it that way order will be created.

GCE GLOBAL:
Yeimi, what would be some of the statistics that show the lack of time in society that prevents entrepreneurship and the development of people?

YEIMY MARÍN:
On several occasions it has been shown, according to surveys, that women are the ones who do the most activities, since several of these are domestic and that is why they do not have free time to do separate activities.
12.7% of women expressed this feeling, unlike men who were 8.1%, this shows a deficiency in coexistence at work and at home.

GCE GLOBAL:
What would be some of the solutions for this problem of coexistence at work and at home?

YEIMY MARÍN:
Now, in these times, I am going to give you four steps that will teach you how to have a better coexistence at work and at home.
I plan myself: I make weekly lists with my activities in a notebook or on my cell phone, since I know that at some point of the day I forget one or another activity or lists of things to do, if you make the lists with daily things of a lot think like food and if there are activities that third parties can do as children or husbands, it is better to delegate them to them. (More information in the video.)

GCE GLOBAL:
What hours are good to focus on work?

YEIMY MARÍN:
That depends on the person. If the person is efficient and creative at 12 at night, that they work at that time and maximize their performance or if the person works better at 5 in the morning, then they allocate that time to alone. work and maximize your performance.

GCE GLOBAL:
What to do when even so with lists we feel very pressured by the number of activities that must be done in a day?

YEIMY MARÍN:
What you should do is stop on your list of activities that you will do weekly, add time to do nothing, giving your brain space to rest, or allocate that space to be able to review your list in the morning and prepare to not rush to complete all at once, and even add a space to spend time with your partner and family and that is just for that, so you can see from an outside point everything you should do and know how to solve everything you have put on the list .

GCE GLOBAL:
And what Is it done in the event that a person is full of responsibilities that they accept daily without these being essential but they treat them as such?

YEIMY MARÍN:
You have to learn to say no, since by accepting activities that are not urgent but that others ask of us, what is important is left aside and when what is important arrives we find ourselves stressed, unable to carry out that work that is important because of it. fact of not being able to refuse favors.

GCE GLOBAL:
What method do you recommend to be more efficient at work?

YEIMY MARÍN:
I recommend the Pomodoro method, which is based on working hard for 20 minutes and taking a 5-minute break, and repeating it for the amount of time necessary until you finish the job. This method is effective because it gives the brain rest instead to overwhelm him by working all day without a break.

GCE GLOBAL:
What kind of thinking leads you to overload yourself with work that leads you to deny the good details of breaks?

YEIMY MARÍN:
How incredible ask! There are people who are mentalized to fill themselves with work, even because when they are interrupted and realize what has been done, that thought may come from generation to generation, a chain that can be broken. With that first interruption, it can be repeated and shows us how beautiful life is, giving us a moment to stop and breathe.

GCE GLOBAL:
What do I do when I feel that thanks to this quarantine I have collapsed and I feel weaker?

YEIMY MARÍN:
If this is the moment when you feel the weakest, the most If you are the pillar of your family, it is the moment in which you have to tell yourself NO I HAVE TO STOP because there are people who need me and support you in the planning that you learned to do today.

GCE GLOBAL:
Well Yeimy, we say goodbye Thank you very much for contributing so much to the people who follow us so that they can have a more organized and productive quarantine.
